Administrative history
A church has stood at Eoropie on the Isle of Lewis since the 12th or 13th century. The church fell into ruins but was restored in 1912 by Canan H A Meadon, Rector of St Peter’s Church, Stornoway, a congregation of the Episcopal Church of Scotland.
Regular services are held by the church who shares its Rector with the congregation of St Peter’s in Stornoway.

Geneva bible: The “Breeches” Bible, 1608
Prayer Book. Formerly belonging to David Livingstone, African explorer and missionary, presented to him by Mrs Fitch 1858. Presented to St Moluag’s Church, Eoropie by Anne Mary Livingstone Wilson, daughter of David Livingstone 1914. Contains enclosure with presentation notes. Retained in small wooden inscribed box.
